World Environment Day is held every year on June 5. Starting in 1973, it is now the largest global platform for environmental outreach. The theme for 2022 is “Only One Earth” focusing on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”.
Our Mary Ward schools celebrated the day by raising awareness, planting trees and cleaning their surroundings. Students, teachers and staff participated in the activities, each one doing their small part in caring for our common home.
