Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) commemorated the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons by raising awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims; and promoting and protecting their rights in the community.
In collaboration with the local authorities and various NGOs, they organised local community events, opened a Child Friendly Corner in Basirhat and held a drawing competitions among local child leaders.
KMWSC staff together with the Skill Development Project students observed Anti Human Trafficking Day by pledging to dare to dream to eradicate Human Trafficking in this era.
