International Day of the Girl Summit 2020

Students from both IBVM and CJ schools submitted a diverse number of creative works for the Day of the Girl Summit for the International Day of the Girl 2020. The event was organised by the Working Group on Girls (a coalition of over 40 NGOs and we are a member) in partnership with the UN Canada Mission to celebrate Girls!

The submissions could be a video, art or graphic design, poem or monologue on the theme “Building Equity for Girls.” Over a hundred Mary Ward students submitted their work and a number of these were chosen and featured at the Girls Speak Out on October 11, 2020.

You can see their submissions here.
